Announcing the Don’t Get Rich Quick Internet Marketing Blog

August 6th, 2008 · Uncategorized

Don’t Get Rich Quick is our new blog about internet marketing. The internet is awash with get-rich-quick schemes, scams, and outrageous claims about making money. Almost all of it untrue in one way or another. But one thing has become clear over the last couple of years β€” if you want to grow your small business you better figure out how to use the internet. We sometimes think all this hucksterism is some new phenomena brought on by the internet.

It’s not. It’s much the same as the advertising was at the turn of the last century, when outrageous claims filled the pages of newspapers. The internet is just the latest incarnation. And now, as then, smart companies both large and small are learning how to make money in this new medium.

Don’t Get Rich Quick is dedicated to helping you understand legitimate internet marketing β€” what needs to be done, why it matters, and where you need to focus your attention for best results. We hope you enjoy it.

Nearline to Add Integrated Marketing Services

September 24th, 2007 · Uncategorized

As we have talked to our beta customers and prospects over the past few months it’s become clear there is a need for a much broader, more integrated service to help independent professionals establish credibility in the marketplace, reach more customers, and grow their business.

There are many good and inexpensive options for publishing a book if you have the time, knowledge, and resources to manage all the promotion of your book and business by yourself. But not many of us have that. As entrepreneurs, consultants, or small-firm owners we too often must focus on the immediate needs of the business. The result is that promotional, prospecting, and outreach efforts get shortchanged, and our business suffers.

To address this critical aspect of growing a business we will be adding a variety of integrated marketing services over the next few months. Among the services are:

  • Web site (including blog) strategy and management
  • Online advertising strategy and management
  • Email marketing strategy and management
  • Email list development
  • Product strategy and management
  • Event strategy and management
